Particular emphasis is placed upon marine safety, safe working practices and protection of the marine environment with the target of zero accidents, incidents and spills.
Company targets and objectives are set at management review meetings and monitored to provide continual improvement.
The Company’s quality management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and the International Maritime Organization's ISM (International Safety Management) Code for the safe operation of ships and pollution prevention, as amended.
The Company is committed to protecting the environment from all forms and types of pollution caused by its activities. To achieve this, the Company operates an Environmental Management System in line with current national and international legislation.
The Company is investing best efforts to minimize generation of any waste or liquids and to minimize disposal to shore facilities by using vessel sources and machineries.
Management together with office staff and vessel crew will endeavor to purchase and supply company’s vessels by bulk orders and by most efficient way to reduce waste generation.
The Company implements a Drug and Alcohol Policy for all seafarers, that includes testing and screening during pre-joining medical examinations. Co-operation with Custom authorities worldwide is maintained to combat illegal drug trafficking
Management is committed to a safe, healthy working environment and will strive to ensure that this policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels within the organization.
Management is committed for routine visits on board managed vessels to verify shore-vessels communication and cooperation are fulfill as expected and satisfactory.
Company will invest best efforts to satisfy crew welfare conditions and getting proper feedback by all crew.
ASM Maritime B.V safety culture, starting from office personnel including crew on board company vessels, is the most important mean to comply with management aims by most successfully ways without take any avoidable risk!

Our Welfare approach includes: monitoring rest hours of the crew members, implementing a Drug and Alcohol Policy, ensuring high standard of hygiene as well to providing different benefits in order to create a positive working environment for our seafarers. Furthermore, our vessels equipped with well modern equipment which allows our seafarers to keep in touch with their families during their contract.
